Idyl Wyld is the oldest of the Livonia courses having been purchased by the City in 1975. As is found with most older courses, small greens and well placed bunkers await. This old gem is shorter in distance than the other two courses; however the small greens, numerous sandtraps, and fair amount of water make up for the distance. Hilly at times, and scenic at others, Idyl Wyld is a very enjoyable course for players of all abilities.
Beginning Saturday, May 10, all weekend reservations prior to 1:00pm must be prepaid.
Customers may book through Golf Now, or can prepay with a credit card if directly calling the Idyl Wyld pro shop. This new “prepay on weekends until 1:00pm” rule will continue through the summer until September 13-14, 2025.
