Fox Creek is the newest of the Livonia golf courses having opened in 1988. The course offers two distinct nines, challenging the game of all golfers. The front nine is over 300 yards longer than its counterpart but is much more forgiving of errant shots. The back nine rewards accuracy over distance. Overall, water comes into play on thirteen of eighteen holes. Fox Creek’s back nine fairways are much more narrow than its front nine. However, both front and back fairways are lined with trees, so shot accuracy is very important. Water hazards come into play on thirteen of eighteen holes, so be sure to bring a good supply of golf balls. A large number of treacherous sand bunkers have been positioned around the course. Fox Creek is a “must visit” for the outdoor enthusiast, with a year-round abundance of wildlife. It’s not uncommon to even witness a fox casually wandering about (monitoring the pace of play!) All food and beverage accommodations at Fox Creek Golf Course are provided by Coach’s Corner Bar & Grill. Offering a full service menu, Coach’s Corner is a great place to relax after a round of golf, stop off after a movie, relive the action after a ball game at Bicentennial Park, or watch the big game on their numerous plasma TV’s. Although separately owned businesses, Coach’s Corner and Fox Creek Golf Course hope to make your golfing and dining experiences as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
