Fox Creek, Whispering Willows and Idyl Wyld now offers FAMILY TEES at each golf course. Sponsored by the PGA of America and US Kids Golf, the PGA Family Course Program makes golf more enjoyable for families, regardless of age and ability. The family course establishes a beginner-friendly short course within an existing golf facility, and provides a simple transition as each player’s ability increases. The family course also enables players of varying abilities to shoot similar scores, and encourages parents and kids to play golf together.
Golf has continued to grow in popularity year after year; therefore, more and more kids are looking to the links as a source of recreation and competition. With such growth, we are enthused about opening additional space for junior golfers. Opening more tee times for juniors requires providing the proper etiquette and skills needed to enjoy the game.
